New Tuition Policy

Tuition is based on a full dance year, September-May.  

 

Our tuition policy is based on a MONTHLY payment system. You must sign up for Autopay at registration and have a credit card or checking account on file.  Payments will be debited from your credit card or checking account at NO ADDITIONAL FEE on the fifteenth of the month starting September 15th until April 15th.  Students with outstanding accounts will not be admitted to class. We accept Visa and Mastercard.

 

If you chose to make a full payment or two payments, please make arrangements with the studio upon registration.

There will be a $20.00 return check fee payment and a $20.00 late payment fee per month for outstanding tuitions.

Competition entrance fees are separate from regular tuition.  Please contact the studio for any further questions regarding team competition rates and fees.

 

Costume Deposit

A costume deposit of $55.00 per costume, per dancer, and will be debited from your account on file with your second tuition payment.  Final costume payments will be debited from your account in December.  All costumes are ordered over Holiday Break.  If  costume balances are not paid in full before holiday break, your child's costume will not be ordered. 

 

All Company Dancer's costumes require at $75 costume deposit, per costume, per dancer and will be debited from your account on file with your second tuition payment.  Dates will be posted on our studio calendar.

 

Dance Recital

In May we will be having our annual dance recital.  This is a very exciting time for the girls to showcase everything that they have learned through out the year.  If your child is going to participate in our recital you are required to purchase a costume.  Tickets must also be purchased for the recital. Our tickets are sold through Dance Recital Ticketing. All outstanding balances must be paid in full before purchasing tickets.

Recital Fee:  There will be a $100 Recital fee per family.  The recital fee includes, a live stream of the recital to share with family and friends the day of the show.  A recital download provided by DanceBug.  Also included is an All About Dance commemorative recital t-shirt and a business sized ad in our printed and digital program.  This fee will be automatically debited from your account in April 2025.  

 

E-mail and Correspondences

All About Dance has gone GREEN effective 09/15/09.  We do most of our communication ie: tuition statements studio announcements, through e-mail (misslisa@allaboutdance1.com or Dance Studio Pro).  Please make sure that we have your current e-mail address on file and that you check your email frequently.  Join our All About Dance Family Facebook group and make sure that you are on our All About Dance Family BAND APP.

Parent Portal: Please make sure you have access to your parent portal. You can access your Parent Portal through our website's HOME page! 

 

New: We understand everyone has questions, but effective 08/01/2019, if you email, text or call on a Sunday, you will NOT receive a response until Monday.  Sorry but we all need a day off!  Please be mindful that our cell phones are our personal accounts.  Although we are happy to answer questions, all studio related questions should go through the studio phone 781-592-3262 during business hours, which are Monday-Friday 10:00am-4:00pm

Vacations and Holiday Schedule

All About Dance observes all legal holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and all regular school vacations.

• Thursday, October 31st - Halloween

• Monday, November 11th - Veteran's Day

• Wednesday, November 27th-30th - Thanksgiving

• Monday, December 23rd-January 1st - Winter Break- Classes resume January 2nd

• Monday, January 20th - Martin Luther King Day

• Monday, February 17th - Saturday 22nd - February Vacation - Classes resume on Monday, February 24th

• Friday, April 18th - Good Friday

• Monday, April 21th-26th - April Vacation

 

Attendance / Class Make-up

Attendance is very important. Classes are not transferable and there are no make-up classes for classes missed for any reason (unless accompanied by a Doctor's letter). There is no refund for missed classes at your discretion. In case of absence, please call the school and leave a message. Make-up classes will be available only if the All About Dance cancels the class.  If there are excessive holidays that fall on a particular dance day, classes may be made up if scheduled through Miss Lisa. Make up classes must be scheduled at least a week in advance.

 

Notices and Cancellations

Important school notices will be sent via email.  Please make sure your email address is updated on our Parent Portal. Notices, cancellations, schedule changes will always be posted on the school bulletin and on Facebook at our All About Dance Family page, BAND App, as well as our Facebook All About Dance business page. In case of BAD weather, dance classes are canceled when NO SCHOOL announcements are made for the Swampscott Public School System.    

 

Waiting Area

Please do not bring food or drink into the waiting area or studio. This includes gum and candy. Please make sure your children do their part in making this possible. All About Dance is peanut free.  Absolutely no peanut products are allowed in the school. Sibling must be supervised at all times.
